Technology PolicyAn Urgent Ideological Reality Test for Business AcademeSanta Clara University This article argues that the increased salience of technology policy in the political agenda of the Clinton administration constitutes a pressing ideological challenge for business academe. Basic assumptions and conceptual foundations need reexamination if the business academe is to understand, interpret, and influence rapidly evolving trends in business/government relations and public policy in the United States. A conceptual and issue-specific teaching and research agenda is offered.
